Bota Island Hvar Highlights Tour
After a short waking tour in Hvar, Croatia’s touristic hot spot, we continue the tour with a drive to the north side of Croatia’s longest island in order to discover its true beauty. The panoramic road which connects Hvar town and Stari Grad is famous for astonishing views on the Adriatic see, lavender and rosemary fields.
Our next stop is Stari Grad, one of the oldest settlements on the Croatian coast. It was founded by the Greeks in the 4th century BC and named Pharos. The stone streets, greek and roman remains, Dominican Monastery and Hektorovic’s castle, the little shops and bars along the seaside will make this walking tour unforgettable.
Then we continue through the well-known vineyards and olive fields in UNESCO-protected Hora before reaching Vrboska, a charming little fishing village famous for its church castle and picturesque bridges. Up on return to Hvar town, foto stop at Hvar’s fortres, an incredible wiew to complete the day.
